The technique of Polaroid Enhancement is now a lost art form because Polaroid no longer manufactures SX-70 film. Sequences of nature themes have previously been the focus of the traditional manual Polaroid Enhancement I explored: e.g. blooming of an Amaryllis bud, Winter sunsets, Oregon waterfalls, Autumn leaves. The images that emerged through the hand manipulation of the Polaroid gel are magical and Spirit-driven. The core of my creative belief is that Spirit guides the result. |
